Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport with flower garlands and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon to explore Thamel.
Day 2
Kathmandu City Tour
Visit world heritage sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath, and Pashupatinath. Evening briefing with your trekking guide.
Day 3
Fly to Lukla. Trek to Phakding (2,640m)
35 minute scenic flight to Lukla followed by a 3 hour trek to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River with first views of Mt. Nupla.
Day 4
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
5 hour trek following the Bhote Koshi river with your first glimpse of Mt. Everest. Namche is the capital of the Sherpa community.
Day 5
Acclimatisation Day at Namche
Rest and acclimatise with optional walks to Khumjung monastery or Syangboche for stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam and surrounding peaks.
Day 6
Trek to Tyangboche (3,867m)
5 hour trek climbing through forest with spectacular views, arriving at the iconic Tyangboche monastery.
Day 7
Trek to Dingboche (4,260m)
5 hour trek through beautiful patchwork fields enclosed by stone walls, with views of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge.
Day 8
Acclimatisation Day at Dingboche
Rest day with optional hike to Chhukum for panoramic views of Island Peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu and Tawoche peak.
Day 9
Trek to Lobuche (4,930m)
5.5 hour trek north with views of Mt. Tawache, Ama Dablam and the great wall of Nuptse. Cross a wooden bridge over the Khumbu glacier fed river.
Day 10
Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,486m)
The big day. 7 hour trek via Gorakshep through rocky moraine paths with views of icy glacial ponds and the Khumbu glacier. You made it.
Day 11
Kala Patthar (5,545m) then Pheriche
Early morning climb to Kala Patthar for a majestic sunrise and the closest view of Mt. Everest available without climbing it. Panoramic views of 10+ peaks.
Day 12
Trek to Phortse (3,810m)
5 hour descent with beautiful views of Ama Dablam, Kongde and Thamserku. Visit an ancient Buddhist monastery at Phortse.
Day 13
Trek to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung
6 hour trek passing the Hillary School and hospital in Khumjung and the traditional village of Khunde before arriving back in Namche.
Day 14
Trek to Lukla (2,886m)
The final day of trekking. 6 hours from Namche via Monjo back to Lukla crossing the Bhote-Koshi River three times along the way.
Day 15
Fly back to Kathmandu
35 minute scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant with live cultural performance.
Day 16
Patan and Bhaktapur City Tour
Visit the medieval cities of Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur, exploring ancient temples, cobbled alleyways, and world heritage architecture.
Day 17
Departure
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure home. What a journey.
